BRINGING EXTRAORDINARY ART TO YOUR DOOR
THE HEALING POWER OF ART
ART FOR LIFE
What is the aim and what do I get out of it?
A time to relax, have fun and immerse yourself in creativity. The aim is to promote happiness and wellbeing.
Painting, drawing, mixed media, words and movement are explored to open up curiosity and imagination.
Suitable for all ages and no prior art experience necessary.
Sharing and experiencing the arts as part of a group benefits on a different level to doing something alone.
The medical profession is starting to recognise the health benefits of getting together and engaging with the arts as a social experience. Whether it's painting in a group, going to a movie, a gig, or joining a choir, the social aspect is essential for us thrive as human beings.
We offer Group Art Sessions in the Studio or on Zoom. We also offer individual Therapeutic sessions for Adults or Teens or dyads for Parents and Children
Collectors tell me they want to view art in atmospheric and homely surroundings. Instead of viewing the art in a gallery, We come to you for art consultation and advise on choosing the best art for your space, to suit your budget. We also advise on rehanging any existing artworks, offering the most effective and bespoke art service.
We aim to make art-buying fun!
With 25 years experience in the art world, we have searched far and wide to find and nurture a relationship with our accomplished artists. The quality and variety of work offered is a result of those relationships, where there is a deep trust, enabling our artists to be free to develop and master their chosen medium.
We are proud to represent these fabulous 5, trusted artists: Alvaro Petritoli (Magical forests and miniature paintings using ink and mixed media on paper), Caroline Preston (Origami images symbolising harmony, love and peace), Mark MacKinnon (American landscape photographer), Geoff Catlow (Abstract Paintings and 3-D paper constructions) and Bill Butcher (Ideas and stories expertly drawn and printed in vintage-style illustrations)

ALVARO PETRITOLI - FRAGMENTS & ATMOSPHERES
I choose to photograph the work that exemplifies the calm before the storm. By reflecting upon the work, the viewer can disassociate them self with life distractions and join in the calmness of nature.
Ink on paper
Bill Butcher is an innovative, award-winning artist and illustrator who has carved out a unique career with his thought provoking illustrations for leading publications and brands including the Financial Times, The Economist, Moet Hennessey, LA Weekly and The Wall Street Journal. Bill has also undertaken several public and private commissions and exhibited widely in both group and solo shows, including at an Art Movement event at Christies.
Origami is known to symbolise peace, love and longevity; butterflies symbolise hope. Legend states that the person who folds one thousand origami cranes will be granted their wish.
ABOUT MILLY GREEN, FOUNDER
I launched Art Movement in 1995 as an art consultancy and dining club, representing and exhibiting around 80 contemporary artists in the UK and around the world. I then ran the gallery for 5 years and now continue to represent our core 5 leading artists.
Following two years art therapy training, (Advanced Diploma in the Therapeutic and Educational Application of the Applied Arts, Certificate in Counselling Skills and Certificate in Parents & Children at IATE, The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education), I have created, and personally deliver, Art for Life sessions using visual arts, both as a language and to express emotion.
I continually and consciously adapt to suit the climate and believe that this type of exploration, Art for Life, seems more relevant now than ever.
